A lot of people are experiencing one issue or another. Here are some fixes for a few of the problems:


I. Game UI Has Korean Buttons: I don't know what causes it. Two things I believe that have the potential to cause this problem are the following:
1. You ran some Korean patchers or something and you shouldn't have. ONLY RUN OUR PATCHER. Korean patchers MAY edit precious game files that I won't be able to unpatch. Try seeing fix below.
2. You combined the RO folder with an old Sakray folder or another servers. DON'T DO THIS PLEASE :/
3. You are using Vista. If so, move your raptureRO folder to your desktop and run the patcher as administrator.

Fix: A Guide By NuS~ and Hyde

II. Can't Connect To Server (Invalid Username / Password): Your RO folder is all messed up. May not have saved proper files because it's in the wrong location, or you combined the Renewal folder with another servers. Baaaad. See below for potential fix.

Fix:
1. If you are running Windows Vista, or Windows 7, please move your RO folder (or whatever it may be called / RagnarokRenewal) onto your desktop.
2. Run the patcher.

III. Missing Pallettes: This has been fixed already. Make sure to run your patchers to get the new client. If you still receive the errors, please refer to issue II. You are experiencing that problem.

It's indeed broken.
I can't read korean but I got used to it xD
Only some buttons are in korean,
I guess it is the new renewal buttons
that are not translated.
When I use the scribling kid skin I can see only the buttons
that weren't in sakray are not translated.

Of course, It's just a remark and I didn't check it properly so I'm probably wrong.

I decided that I would give this server a shot, but I need some help getting it to work apparently. So I see all of these posts that say not to combine your old RO folder with this servers data b/c of the new Renewal client, which is understandable. So I decided to download kRO Ragnarok 09-23-2009 Client, and kRO Ragnarok Renewal 09-23-2009 Client. After downloading these I created a new folder named Ragnarok Online in my documents and installed both clients into this folder. I didnt patch anything, downloaded the RaptureRO patcher and also placed it in this folder. After it completed its patch I started the game and everything was still in Korean. I tried the guide that you guys said but my texture folder is only 224kb or something instead of 10.5mb. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you need the kRO Ragnarok 09-23-2009 Client, I just use the Renewal that was provided on the download page here. Also I had to go into my settings while ingame, and make sure it was set to "Basic Skin" because Default had the korean on it. Hope I helped ^^;

Thinking back on it, I installed from a reneweal client off of RMS, and I was having alot of issues at first too, after I downloaded that file up there and running the rapture patcher again, everything worked perfectly. Good luck

Not sure if anybody will read this -- but I downloaded last night's full client (the 1.7 gb one) and my buttons are now in Korean. I tried copying the folder into skins but the skin doesn't show up in-game (it's not even an option).

Any ideas on how to fix this?
