New DD’s And What That Means
I've hired three DDs, which are basically moderators for the server and forums. They have been hand picked from nice, helpful and knowledgeable players, and are willing to help the community grow. And the members I've hired as DDs are....

13.3 Update Is Here!
New maps, new mobs, new items! Here is a rundown on what we got.
- Gold Coin Bag Trader: This item is only available from the Shines that spawn in PvP, the WoE treasure chests, and special PvP events thrown by the GMs. It's a buffed up version of the Gold Coin reward token, that gives you access to a PvP shop. At the shop, you can purchase lots of great PvP gears and cards, to mitigate farming for those who want to focus on PvPing and to help guilds gear up for WoE!
- Tons of New Headgears: Headgears from the 13.2 and 13.3 updates. You can use the Gold Coin Bag to buy Neckties (a disguised Apple of Archer) and Red Combs (disguised Marionette Dolls), and other headgears will be available through special events. The first of which is the Super Race Extravaganza! Check out the event forum for information on that event!
- PvP Rewards: Shines will now spawn in PvP, and they drop rewards you can turn in for PvP gear. WoE drops have also been tweaked to support this system, and new castles will be released very soon.
- El Dicastes: The new town arrives at Rapture in 13.3! New quests and adventures await for you to conquer them.
- Scaraba Hole: The new dungeon in 13.3, with fierce mobs and very rare items.
- Nidhoggyr's Dungeon: Perhaps the deadliest MvP ever created.. The huge dragon hits for 50k, and doesn't stop there. Can you and your guild defeat him?
- The Arena: A GM hosted event thrown weekly, that tests the limits of you and partners. Look forward to the release of the event in a couple weeks!
There are a ton of other things added in the update that will come across throughout the weekend, so I'll release info on it in the coming days as it happens.

Maintenance Downtime
I expect to have the server down today for a bit of time. I will be updating all of the server files, as well as reworking a lot of the NPCs. When the maintenance actually comes through, I will have a list of changes for you to look through.
Maintenance Time: 3:00PM - 5:00PM(expected)
I hope the server will be back up by 5:00PM or sooner, but it may not be. I will also post a guide on how exactly you can update your RO files for all the new NPC's, maps, mobs and items. Stay tuned for information posted here.

The New Client
Kitoru and I have put a lot of time into the update planned for tomorrow. I'm not sure what to do about the client, since the client is currently updated only to 13.1, and we will be updating to 13.3. We would prefer to let you update through our patcher, but working through the korean patch client files is ridiculous.
Stay tuned for information on the release. Chances are it won't be tomorrow even though the server is completely ready. We WILL have a completely new full installer ready which will be 100%, but we won't release until we get the patch data sorted out. Aim for the end of the weekend.

What We Have Planned
On July 8th, a lot is happening. I'll post regular updates on where we are, and what is coming into the server. The list will change as we get close to release, but this should be some nice information for a lot of you.
- Completely updated to Episode 13.3 El Discartes
- New items and headgears available. To see a full list, google Episode 13.3 RO items.
- Brand new custom headgear quests with awesome new sprites. This time around we will be including more Feather Berets, Apple of Archers, and a few other select gears.
- A completely new donations page, filled with reworked items. We are sticking to our balanced and cosmetic theme for donations. You won't ever have to donate to be competitive.
- New events, and the old favorites you've come to like. Events will always either be PvP based or Fun / Skill based (like the reaction event).
- An updated client, with less bugs for everyone. We aren't sure how we will distribute it yet. It will be available for download on the main site, but the availability of patching it is still up in the air.
- Reworked WoE. All new prizes and new castles. Possibly a shift of time as well, to suit the current active guilds on the server.
- Better / reworked gold coin prizes.
Also, Summer Fest is still going on! Everyday I'm throwing random events in-game, as well as following planned events from the RaptureRO Event Calender on the forums. Be a part of it! See you inside

Monday News
July is just around the corner! Kitoru and I are back and working hard on the update for Rapture. We will be completely updating to episode 13.3. This means that an update to kRO is necessary.. but to ease the pain, we will be revamping our downloads page. You can expect a brand new Full Installer, a brand new Client Download, and a direct link to the newest kRO. We will also be posting guides to get RaptureRO running on Vista and MacOSX. The update should take place sometime during July 8th / July 9th.
Also, check out the RaptureRO Event Calender! I've gone through and updated it with my events to get everyone on the same page. I'll be throwing out random in-game events for Summer Fest as well, so be online! The month of July is packed with fun (and more is being added). A Change of Pace
Hello everyone, Etchel here. Rapture has fluorished the past couple of weeks, and that is due to Scryed and friends working hard for the benefit of the community. They have done numerous things which include skinning the Control Panel, creating a banner and an event calender for the forums, amazing in-game events and being helpful and nice. Unfortunately due to certain circumstances, they will no longer be available for Rapture. I will not go into detail, but I wish to send them my respects and my thanks for everything they have done. Scryed is going inactive for a while and the rest will not be around anymore.
As for all the events that Scryed and friends were running.. I will try my best to continue the good ones! Certain things will be a little mixed up, but we should get by fine. Here are a list of current on-going events that you should check out!

Summer Events and Updates
It's finally summer! The GMs have lined up numerous events for the Rapture community to enjoy. We're kicking it off with the Old People's Race this saturday (in honor of a belated Father's Day).
For the July 4 week, we're having a week-long event (called SUMMER FEST!) that will consist of various events each day as well as a cute hat giveaway! :3
Now is the time for all new players to join and win gold coins for prizes and more!

Also, since the foods for the new/custom pets are not available, we changed the pet food of all the new/custom pets to ripened strawberries (available at the pet groomer in Prontera, east from the center 218, 211)
If you have a new/custom pet and would like it's pet gear, mail or deal a GM with 2 different pet gears and we will give you your pet's equip. (i.e. Peco Peco Battered Pot + Munak Sword > Miyabi Doll's Summer Fan)

New WoE Castles
We switched Alde castles to Payon castles in hopes of sprucing up WoE a bit. You can find more information by clicking Information > WoE Times and Drops or checking the forums.
